Ugly Betty - Ashley Samantha Jensen is so afraid of getting fired from the hit show she spends her time scouring the scripts for hints of her character's removal.

The Ashley Jensen shot to fame when she landed the role of fashion stylist Christina on the US comedy but admits her triumph has left her horrified that programme bosses will unexpectedly choose to write her out.

Betty's final fear is that her character will meet an untimely end.

Ashley Jensen says, "I still think I am going to get found out and they will send me home. I've heard that there's a favorite soap exit - your character opens an elevator door and falls down the shaft - so I scan the scripts anxiously for any elevator scenes. Beware of the shaft!"
